Being in a mule train is thirsty work, what with hauling tons of borax through the desert and all.  So we Mules are on a constant lookout for new watering holes.  And guess what, we found one right at the Northgate Mall, and it definitely looks like it's worth checking out. So come help us do just that this Friday evening.  The place is called "Ounces Outdoors." They've got craft beer, wine and hard cider (they had us at "beer") and good eats (grilled sandwiches and savory pies, yummm), as well as bocce courts and fire pits.  Sadly, one thing they don't have is a dance floor (and dancing in the bocce courts is frowned upon).  So you can leave your dancing shoes at home for this one, but do wear your best pair of toe-tapping shoes.  Oh, and as if a new watering hole isn't, itself, something to celebrate, we'll also be celebrating our own washboard / harmonica player extraordinaire Brian Dettor's birthday week (who just celebrates a birth-day anymore?) so all you Brian Dettor fans aren't going to want to miss this one!
