ORIGINALS

The Mules are fortunate to have two accomplished songwriters on board and a solid repertoire of original songs.  The songs are catchy -- folks in the audience often find themselves singing along on first listen.  They're irresistibly danceable -- we dare you to stand still while listening to a Mules tune.  They're uniquely humorous.  And they're memorable -- audiences request to hear them again and again.  Miracle Mule's 2nd and 3rd albums, 2015's Swampy Tonkin' and 2022’s Romp in the Swamp, are both showcases of the band's original music.

Miracle Mule - Romp in the Swamp album cover

Miracle Mule’s long-awaited third album, Romp in the Swamp, officially launched on March 5, 2022 at a sold-out CD release party at Rancho Nicasio. The album includes 11 new hoof-stompin’ originals plus a swampy-tonk version of the Hank Williams classic, Cold Cold Heart. If you missed the party you can order a copy, download or stream it at all of your favorite outlets, including Amazon & Spotify.

An excellent collection of upbeat songs performed by stellar musicians.  One of the best things about the Mules is the three very distinctively different voices that can blend together seamlessly.  And as together and precise as the voices [are], the music is equally as tight.  The musicianship is excellent from top to bottom.  The songs are really good -- very whimsical, in the vein of Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks.  This was just what I needed.   – Ken C., Saugus MA

This is the funnest CD I've heard in years. Still trying to get the grin off my face! –Peter B., Fairfax CA

You can’t saddle this mule with repetitious, sound-alike songs.  Swampy Tonkin’ is a whimsical romp through a musical landscape influenced by the styles of Bob Wills, Professor Longhair and Louis Jordan. --Norman C., San Francisco CA

A romp in the swamp you won't want to miss.  What a well-crafted and fun set of songs! Songs like Swampy Tonkin' are just plain made for shuffling your feet. –Ed P., Amherst MA.

You can purchase your very own copy of Swampy Tonkin' on CD Baby, Amazon or iTunes.  Or stream it on Spotify.
