Rancho Nicasio - Oct 2026

We are just 17, you know what I mean, & the way we play is way beyond compare!

Wow!  17 years of making music and having fun with all of our friends and fans  How lucky can 7 Mules be?  So this calls for a cele-bray-shun!  The party is at Rancho Nicasio next Friday and it'll be a blast.  It'll be an evening of total Mulishness, with all your swampy-tonk favorites -- plus special guests, Marin vocal ensemble, The Shady Ladies, under the musical direction of Miracle Mule's own, Sandy Geller.

We can't wait for the anniversary gifts to start rolling in because 17 is the Chia Pet anniversary, and we're excited to add to our collection.

As if a Miracle Mule anniversary isn't enough of an excuse to party, we'll also be be celebrating washboardist Brian Dettor's October birthday.  It would be impolite to say how old he is, though when have you ever met a mule that cared about politeness?  The real reason we're not divulging his age is that mules just can't count that high.

Of course, Rancho features some mighty fine dining, a great sound system and a sweet spacious dance floor with plenty of wiggle room.  We'll only turn 17 once, so this is one party you're not going to want to miss.  It's also the last show on our 2026 calendar, so this will also be your last chance to see the Mules till after new year's.  Fortunately some tickets are still available, so
order yours right now before you start streaming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns and forget all about it.

Rancho Nicasio is at 1 Old Rancheria Road in Nicasio.  We really hope you'll join us there for this special cele-bray-shun.  It just wouldn't be a party without you!  [NOTE:  Chia pets not required for admission.]

Na na na na na na na na -- MuleMan!

A deep gloom has settled over Goat-tham City.  The old rhythms have grown tired.  Dance floors are vacant, dancing shoes languish, forgotten, in the remote recesses of the city’s closets.  Spirits are grim.  Suddenly, in the dark clouds overhead a beacon of hope appears.  It is the Mule-Signal, an urgent summons instantly spotted by its intended recipient:  MuleMan.  “Holy cow, Rockin’ Robin, the people need some Swampy-Tonk music and they need it now!  Fire up the Mule-mobile, iron your cape, tune up your washboard and set the GPS for Rancho Nicasio.  There’s going to be a romp in the swamp tonight and we have a city to save!”
