Announcing a very special show THIS Thursday:
Miracle Mule at the Presidio Yacht Club
Thursday May 19, 20011, 7:00pm
Miracle Mule is galloping back for a return engagement at the Presidio Yacht Club, under the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge in beautiful Sausalito California, bringing their special blend of Americana, Zydeco, Country and Blues music. This all ages show is FREE, as in NO COVER CHARGE. Come, bring the whole family and enjoy an evening of music, dancing, sightseeing and fun!
If you haven't been to the Presidio Yacht Club in Sausalito, you absolutely must come down to see what all the fuss is about. Just listen to what Marin Magazine says about it: "One of Marin's best kept secret views of the Golden Gate Bridge." Proprietor Maria will be cooking up a delicious home-made dinner with all the fixins for just $8 per plate, and for those of you who enjoy a cocktail now and again, the drinks are always cold and inexpensive. Dinner starts at 5, music starts at 7.
Need more reasons to come down this Thursday?
This will be your last chance to catch Miracle Mule during the month of May, so don't miss it!

Hey everybody! What are you doing for St. Patrick's Day? Miracle Mule is celebrating the holiday at Presidio Yacht Club with a special performance and lots of fun planned. Here is just some of what we have in store for you:
Miracle Mule was honored/thrilled/excited to be asked to play at Don Perata's election night party in Oakland on November 2nd at Z Cafe. In case you don't know, Don is the California Senate Pro-Tem (not that I know what that is), and has been running for Mayor of Oakland. Good news: It appears that Don Perata is going to be Mayor Perata soon. Apparently Oakland has some sort of odd ranked voting system which takes a while to tally, so the official word isn't out yet, however "Mayor" Perata is well ahead in the initial results and it looks promising.
We had a terrific band meeting this morning which we referred to as "The State of the Mule" meeting. We had a long list of items that we have been chatting about informally, but have not done much about. This meeting was to pin names to to-do items and get stuff done. But what's the big idea anyway? We need to gear up for Summer.
Miracle Mule has returned from a short hiatus and we are more ornery than ever. I guess being off the stage doesn't agree with us. We have played a few warm up shows already and we are gearing up for a very busy December.
A couple of weeks ago we took our newest addition to the band, Jungle Jim Lincoln for a test drive at the Mary Silveira Harvest Festival. This was an annual reunion of sorts for Miracle Mule. We first formed under the name Miracle Mule one year ago specifically to play the harvest fest. The Courtney Janes were there as well, and they never disappoint. Crystal clear harmonies soaring over a warm guitar and sweet mandolin singing songs from times gone by. If you haven't heard the Courtney Janes go to their website now and check them out, or better yet go to one of their shows.
After a long and fun Summer with lots of fun gigs at some fantastic venues, Miracle Mule has decided to take some time off to loaf around, drink beer and resolve the situation in the Middle East. A few more beers and I think we'll have it.
Truth is that we are working on new material. Besides, we can't get Hillary Clinton to return our calls, so what else are we to do?
The old sets have served us well, and I'd like to tip a beer to them. We've had many a great gig playing these old chestnuts and I hope you've enjoyed them as much as we have. But we can't keep playing them forever. Really, we have to let them go sometime right? Plus this will give us another enticement to get y'all to come out and see us -- not that any enticement is needed, of course.
A lot is happening in Mule-land. Miracle Mule played last night at Iron Springs Brewery in Fairfax, and before I say anything else, let me say this: Iron Springs Brewery is great. Where do I start? 1) the beers are great, 2) the people are friendly, 3) the venue is fun, 4) they treat the musicians well. I can't say enough about Iron Springs. But back to Miracle Mule. We played Iron Springs last night and had an absolutely terrific time, as did the guests and employees. The band was playing great and the new songs were well received. It was a great night all around and we look forward to a return engagement sometime in Spring.

This one is easy. They are awesome. You won’t be disappointed. We had a power outage in the middle of our event, they switched over to acoustic instruments and still “rocked the house”.
We got nothing but positive feedback from everyone, and we hope Miracle Mule will be back for next year's festival. There were plenty of folks who came to the Cajun Festival specifically for the music, and we didn't hear a single negative. Jean Y.
Miracle Mule is the swampy tonk dance band that everybody is talking about.
With well over 50 songs in the repertoire Miracle Mule can play over three hours of entertaining danceable music. Most songs are covers with a few originals thrown in just for fun. Some songs in the current set list include:
